What are some good clubs/nightspots in Wilmington North Carolina?

ok todays date is March 4th and I just moved to wilmington nc about 4 days ago what is there to do around here, that is not a bar, club, or strip club? No dawsons creek crap they suck, i hated that stupid show.

What are the different areas like within Wilmington? Is it a good place to raise a family? Are the schools good? Are the beaches nice? What type of people live in Wilmington? What is the crime rate like? Are there many job opportunities and what does 3 to 4 bedroom housing typically cost?
